Camp Horizon, a Grief Camp for children ages 6-16

Posted about 10 years ago by Heather Payne

Camp Horizon is a day camp for children between the ages of 6-16, who have experienced the death of a loved one. The goal is for the children to feel less isolated and learn ways to help them deal with their grief. As they meet other children who have had similar experiences, they are able to interact in a fun, safe and caring environment. The camp blends traditional camp fun with grief activities such as exploring the memories of those campers have lost, learning coping skills and participating in creative projects.

2015 Camp Horizon: Saturday, August 22.
