Free webinar to discuss family meetings as a best practice
The MJHS Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care will present a FREE live interprofessional webinar, "Family Meetings in Hospice and Palliative Care," on July 9, 2015, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. EST. Myra Glajchen, DSW, director of medical education at the institute, will discuss the family meeting as a best practice for advance care planning and caregiver support. She will describe core communication skills needed for a meeting and discuss challenging clinical scenarios to learn from. This presentation offers CME, Nursing CE credit and home-study continuing education credit for pharmacists.
