After a tough year of extraordinary challenges, we invite you to begin 2021 by caring for yourself as you care for others!
Join us for a LIVE virtual event featuring Aimee Copeland! You may remember hearing about Aimee after a zip-lining accident in 2012. She was hospitalized with necrotizing fasciitis - a severe bacterial infection - and while doctors worked to save her life she underwent amputation of both hands, her right foot, and her left leg. Although grateful to have survived, her road to recovery was overwhelming to say the least. Now a licensed clinical social worker she will share her story and from a patient's perspective, help those of us who care for others in all arenas to address ways to prevent burnout and compassion fatigue.
Amy is a sought after inspirational speaker who shares her story with passion, truth, humility and humor. Aimee's message will resonate for caregivers in all disciplines. Don't miss her!
The event will take place via Zoom on Thursday, January 21st at 6:30pm. CEUs are offered for nurses and social workers; certificates of attendance are available for all other disciplines. A Zoom link will be emailed after registration. Please share this flyer with your colleagues and join us for this important evening. You won't regret it!
