Care at Life's End - A Clinical Review Course for the Generalist Hospice and Palliative Nurse

Saturday November 3, 2018  8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Prepare to Take the HPNA CHPN Certification Exam or Increase Your Knowledge and Strengthen Your Practice!

This comprehensive and pragmatic course will help the hospice and palliative nurse strengthen your practice and/or provide a solid foundation to prepare to take the HPNA CHPN Certification Course (offered in December 2018).

Content will include:

  • Transitioning from Palliative Care to Hospice
  • Pain and Symptom Management
  • Care at the Time of Dying
  • Interactive Case Study Presentations

The course is in two parts; 16.5 hours CE will be awarded upon completion of both portions of the course. After registering you will be sent four sets of slides to preview before taking a Mock Certification Test (which can be taken after the Nov. 3 portion of the course). You will return the test to the presenter and you will be sent the 8.5 CE certificate. The remaining 8 CE will be awarded at the conclusion of the course on November 3.  Faculty: Debi Bach BSN, RN, CHPN. Founder, Care at Life’s End.
